This is our Day 8 of Great Mediterranean Coast Hike when we 3 years later got back to the trail in Cadaqués where we left it. This hike follows mostly the GR92 trail but we were going to make it our own and planned to hike as close to the coastline as possible making any deviations needed. We were going to hike from Cadaqués to Lloret de Mar passing through Roses, L´Escala, Palamos, Castell Platja d´Aro etc, many beautiful cliffs and beaches covering around 150 kms in total. It was the last and final day of our hike and the plan was to get to the Cap de Creus Lighthouse and explore the area around it. Yesterday we had a beautiful bright day getting to Cadaques town but when we got there we realized that it is different from other coastal towns that we’ve been before. Right from the start the amount of traffic and people in the town made us feel a bit strange about it. Great Mediterranean Coast Hike in Costa Brava, Spain | Day 6 – Port de la Selva-Cadaques
We had a beautiful start of the day having our breakfast at the scenic beach and watching the sun coming up right next to our camping Port de la Vall. We got there yesterday quite late and it turned out that the closest supermarket is in 2.5 kms from the camping. And so after that hot exhaustive day we had to walk more in order to have a proper dinner. So unfortunately we hadn’t much time to enjoy the area in the evening and went to sleep right away.
